The most incredible thing about Reiki is how pure and simple it is. When you approach Reiki with the intention of healing yourself, your body will have already begun the healing sequence, simply by having had the thought that you wish to heal.  Reiki then works in concert with that energy to support your intention.

Although gentle, it is a powerful, subtle form of energy healing that provides a strong support network for your body's own healing abilities. The flow of reiki energy is channeled through a Reiki Practitioner, and is then focused on energy centers in the body, known as chakras.

An average Reiki treatment can last anywhere from 45 min. to 90 min. , and is so subtle, that the benefits may not seem readily apparent, but you will benefit immediately from Reiki energy. Perhaps you'll feel more energy, or very relaxed.  Your pain might be gone completely or significantly reduced, or you might feel much more rejuvenated or more alert.

At all times, Reiki is safe and provides exactly what your body needs.  Reiki can never harm you.  Also, Reiki is intuitive, it will go where it is needed the most first, which may not be exactly where you thought you needed it.   It is recommended that you have a few sessions to benefit fully and ensure long-lasting changes, as one session is not usually enough to address all your body's needs. The benefits of a Reiki treatment last, on average, from 3 to 10 days. Usually, your presenting issue, does not reccur.
